Our Montgomery County Team

Joe McGiffin is the CEO and Co-Owner of GoJoe Patrol of Montgomery County. Joe was born and raised in the DC area and has recently returned to Montgomery County after serving as an active-duty U.S. Army Officer. 

Joe has over 11 years of experience in customer relations, operations management, and leadership training and development. He works collaboratively with key stakeholders to solve problems efficiently and effectively, using data-driven analytics and high-performing teams to find optimal solutions. His most recent duty assignments included teaching leadership and management at the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School and the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Joe holds a PMP certification, a SHRM-SCP certification, and is excited to bring his dedication and passion for service from the military to his home community in Montgomery County.

Josue Zelaya is the Chief Security Officer and Co-Owner of GoJoe Patrol Montgomery County MD.  Josue has called Montgomery County home for over 35 years.

With over 20 years of dedicated service as a police officer in Montgomery County, Josue  brings a wealth of experience in public safety, crisis management, and community engagement. As a proud father of five sons, he has always valued leadership, discipline, and integrity—both at home and in the field. After retiring from law enforcement, Josue  transitioned into education, where he teaches lowerschool. Josue is excited to channel a background in security and leadership into GoJoe Patrol, providing reliable, community-oriented protection services.
